I was born and raised in Southern California. I was adopted into a typical dysfunctional family and survived to become a positive thinking, karma believing person who cares a little too much and never gives up hope.
I spend most of my time hanging out with my boyfriend and chatting with friends. I also spent most of my other time on my forum or posting at different sites I come across. I love to discuss everything and anything, watching movies, driving nowhere in particular and seeing where it takes me.
I hate sad movies or movies where the good guys die. I loathe chick flicks and prefer horror or action over romantic comedies. I'm about to cross over the 20 year mark at my work and the four year mark with my boyfriend. Between the two the four year mark is more impressive. :P

I received this link via a PM and it really pissed me off. Here's my response:
"Actually, it's called spamming. I don't know you and you're linking a site asking for money. I'm not trying to be rude, but would like you to see if from my point of view.
While marriage is a wonderful thing (we're saving up for it ourselves) I find the idea of begging for money so they can have a wedding out of their budget deplorable. My advice to them? Don't beg, save until you are ready. If that means not having the most expensive things then so be it. Celebrate the beginning of your life together within your means, not by living off of other people.
Sorry for the rant, but this link just angers me. I'll also be giving it a thumbs down with this review.

Seriously... This is one reason our society is just going down the tubes. Instead of saving for something special they'd rather beg for someone else to pay for it. My friend's nine month old dog (that she rescued) was recently diagnosed with hip dysplasia. The surgery is going to cost around $5000. I told her to start up a site asking for money. She's too embarassed to. I told her it's not like she's asking for a new pair of tits or to pay for her debt. Someone who's sick and needs help? Yeah, I would give a thumbs up. But not for this. I would LOVE to have a lavish wedding and invite all my friends. But ultimately I would love more to have a special moment that is sharing the beginning of our lives together without being in debt to do it. That's how I was raised. If you can't afford it, then don't buy it. Marriage is a wonderful thing. Begging is not.

*dances around the room* Okay, I don't understand a lick of what she's singing but I love the beat and she's got a beautiful voice. Plus... what woman wouldn't love to have all those men in her house? Those hot, sexy men with big muscles... I'd never take out the trash or do any heavy lifting again.
